The Togethernet team consists of Christians who have a heart for the city and its environs, who see the church in the city as one, and who are committed to providing a technical platform to facilitate communication between the various assemblies of the church in Lancaster. We are a non-profit christian servant organisation with a passionate commitment to prayer and united christian action in the city.
Togethernet provides
Support for prayer groups and other small groups to stay in touch with each other
This would provide a capability of keeping people networked in prayer outside of a physical prayer meeting
Believers would be able to plug into prayer meetings while at work, at home or on the move. Mal 3:16
These groups would also be able to support discipleship of new believers until they get plugged into a church and their discipleship is being fully taken care of by the church in question
Support for one-to-one evangelism and healing meetings by providing testimonies of healing and salvation relevant to the person the gospel is being shared with.
Support for large as well as small evangelistic and church planting initiatives with equipment, literature and organisational support
The Lord said, "I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it".
Togethernet provides for church and para-church organisations a free four-page website including a multimedia page, an events page with event sign-up facilities including conference registration if required, clickable through to your own website if needed or existing, a forum for sharing with the body of Christ what the Lord has been laying on the hearts of his servants in the region.
An events board that will advertise up-coming events put on by your organisation.
We are committed to supporting efforts to showcase the church to the wider community and to itself, and to that end will support or organise exhibitions, prayer breakfasts, concerts or joint prayer meetings that bring the whole body of Christ together.
If there are people in your church who are handy with a camera, who can write a good article, who organise or participate in prayer groups, who are technical designers, who are preachers with something to say to the wider body of Christ then we would love to connect with you so that together we can serve the body of Christ in her hour of unveiling.
Togethernet is co-ordinated by Hilton McAllister, a minister of religion and communications engineer and we are currently recruiting for the ministry team! For further information, contact
