The steering group for Mission Morecambe 2010 invites you to MISSION MORECAMBE 2010 at the Morecambe Promenade

THE PLACE

TO BE JUNE 18th - 20th, 2010

Revival has been promised to Morecambe
. Over and over again, God has spoken to his people about this. Could the Mission Morecambe 2009 meetings be the spark that begins to ignite a fire in Morecambe and the North West?
Will there be a movement of prayer that fans this spark into flame? Will there be the servant heart and humility required to fuel that flame into a credible revival?

The steering group consists of Ministers in the Lancaster and Morecambe area who believe this is God's time to display his mercy to the people of Morecambe and its surroundings.  Andy Hole from Morecambe Bay Christian Fellowship, Rev Peter Brown from Brookhouse Methodist, Ian McLean from King's Community Church, Jonathan Stewart (formerly of Operation Mobilisation)

Bobby Ball had popularity, wealth and fame, but always knew they weren't enough. ‘I had everything, and yet had nothing', he said. He start

ed to drink heavily, was womanizing an

d getting into fights. "At the height of my career”, he said “I could have anything I wanted, but it was never enough”. One day he met Jesus, and Bobby’s life was changed. He found out that God is real. Watch Bobby Ball's testimony

Davey Falcus was ordained in 1999 as a full-time minister. He looked after a drug rehabilitation centre and has travelled around the world as an evangelist.

He said he still gets a mixed reaction from people because he doesn't necessarily look like a minister with his tattooed arms.

He has written about his experiences in a book called Gangland to God.

Dougie Marsh:
'God has sent me around the world and I have preached the Gospel in over 37 countries including: France, Tanzania, Spain, Romania, Uganda, USA, Rwanda, Sweden, Kenya, Greece , DR Congo and more recently I spent two months preaching in Australia and New Zealand.... While in East and Central Africa for five months I saw over 1,000 people give their lives to Christ.'

John Gaughan: For the last decade and a half, John has been writing and performing songs which communicate his love of Christ and which reach out to others in need. He sports a fairly conventional rock/pop sound, but John's distinctive voice gives each song an extra dimension which sets him apart from many others in the same genre. A lead singer and songwriter with the famous 70's pop band Herman's Hermits, John was at the top of the world when an addiction to alcohol robbed him of everything and left him a broken man. That's when he found Jesus and a brand new life. Now he's now using his talents to  communicate how others can receive a brand new life through meeting Jesus.
